WOW Mady...Your progress is absolutely fantastic. What an inspiration!!!
I didn't understand why you think you have an eating disorder. I'm not one of
those people who believes that every single chunky or even fairly heavy person has
an emotional disorder. I was so anxious to see the Oprah show the other day because
they were going to follow-up on people who had been on a diet...but when I saw
that Bob Green was attaching an emotional problem to every one of their pasts...and saying that was the reason for their weight problem...I just turned it off. What a bunch of garbage...at least in 'my' opinion.
I'm chunky...but losing it finally...only had about 15
pounds to lose. But I'm
'chunky' because I LOVE chocolate and fried fish and chicken. I LOVE the taste of
real whipped potatoes with sour & real cream, real butter and a little salt..wow, my
mouth is watering now :-)I LOVE biscuits and gravy...fried eggs and bacon...I LOVE
a big glass of ice cold whole milk...4 or 5 times a day. :-) We do the healthiest
diet you've ever seen all day long...but I wrap up most of my days with some form
of chocolate...be it ice cream...cake, pie...or even hot chocolate. :-) I just
love the taste of chocolate. And I love old fashioned cooking and the things that
are supposed to be so bad for us. THAT is why "I" am chunky! It has nothing to do
with a skeleton in my closet that I don't want to acknowledge...or some sad occurance from childhood..that I can't get over. It has to do with my love of FOOD!
You are really a strong willed person...I hope you know how very blessed you are!
Good luck with the next couple of weeks. kathryn
