Re: My Story.....
Hey S2 --
Thanks for another great post. I am so glad you have made your way here to CZ and to at least the forums I call home!
I have a lot of similar history with migraine also from an early age, depression/SAD, and of course endless meds for various disorders, none of which ever worked in the long run.
I do feel that
Iodine has been helpful with the migraine. I was hopeful about OP for migraine but got a couple in between beginning OP and beginning iodine, then none since. (I get a lot of weather-related "low-pressure" migraines, so this summer and fall I'll see whether there has been a real difference... .)
I'm also hopeful that when I can finally do the
parasite cleanse (if my daighters will ever stop nursing) and then more liver cleansing, that will help, too.
My opinion about sugar/alcohol addiction is that it is one and the same, so if your birth mom was alcoholic, you may have a genetic tendency toward
Sugar addiction. Taking the plunge and stopping processed grains was very helpful for me, for what it's worth. I don't get the cravings as often when I don't eat bread/pasta.
I'll look forward to reading more of your posts about your journey here!
