Excuse me, please, sanctuary2.
My friend here seeks peace with Crow ... how can I not oblige?
Thankfully, this forum seems understanding toward the occasional off-topic discussion.
Oil-Pulling RAWKS!!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay, Trapper.
So I'm guessing this persistent & pesky Crow is bothering you most often during the daylight hours? Wreaking havoc upon your nerves?
Caw, caw, caw?
Caw, caw!!
Crows are normally calm birds ... and not a big nuisance at all ... really.
What's probably happening is this:
Crows will work verociously hard to ward off predators (or what they perceive as predators.) They can make a HUGE fuss about it, too.
Whenever a predator shows up in "what they have claimed as their home" ... Crow will try to mob the intruder to drive it away. If the Crow knows (or feels) he is alone, he will balk with even more fierceness.
Crows react with such aggravating grit during the day because instinctively they know ... if given a chance ... the predators would LOVE to have them for supper.
Also, if the predator finds out where they roost (built their nest) it will return at night when they cannot defend themselves ... at night when they are most vulnerable.
Predators, as you know, will wait as long as it takes to find out how and where and when to strike.
Crow has appeared in your life for a reason.
He is making noise ... lots of it ... because he is trying to tell you something.
Now, follow me here ... please, my friend. Be patient, take my hand, and come.
The Ancient Chiefs tell us that Crow is an omen of change.
Crow sees simultaneously the Three Fates ... past, present and future.
Crow merges light and darkness ... seeing both inner and outer reality.
If Crow appears in your life, and ESPECIALLY if Crow consistently penetrates your concentration ... this is a sign that you have been offered the gift of their unique medicine.
You must now pause and reflect upon how YOU see the "Laws of the Great Spirit" in relation to the "laws of humanity."
Crow medicine signifies a firsthand knowledge of a "Higher Order of Right and Wrong" than indicated by the laws created in human cultures.
With Crow medicine ... you are inclined to speak in a powerful voice when addressing issues that, for you, seem out of harmony, out of balance, out of whack, or unjust.
Remember, Crow looks at the world with first one eye ... and THEN the other ... cross-eyed.
In the Mayan culture, cross-eyeds had the privilege and duty of protecting the present to further safeguard the future.
As you learn to continue to allow your personal integrity be your guide ... your sense of "feeling alone" ... or even the reality of KNOWING you're alone ... will vanish.
Then, your Personal Will can emerge so that you are able to stand tall in your truth.
The prime path of true Crow says to be mindful of your opinions and actions.
Be willing to "walk your talk" ... speak your truth ... know your life’s mission ... and balance past, present and future in the RIGHT NOW.
You must NEVER put aside your natural tendency of being a powerful voice in the wilderness, Trapper ... and, please, continue to loudly “caw” the shots as you see them.
Now, (deep breath), are you SURE you want to get rid of Crow?
You can find peace by simply appreciating and respecting his presence.
Nature is a beautiful thing. Step outside, and Listen.
Oh!
Yeah!
But if Crow continues to irritate the shit out of you ... there's this neat stuff called "bird shot" ... hehe ... whether you aim at the Crow or the predator is up to you.
Have a great evening, my friend.
Thanks for putting up with my own frivolous "cawing."
*wink*
