Re: Restless Legs- Please Help!
Just a P.S.
I agree that there are many issues that we as adrenal patients face. And it is vitally important to address things such as yeast overgrowth, parasites,
food sensitivities , removal of chemicals from the home, dietary changes, supplements, and so on....The caveat is this....
IF your body is at a point where it can recover naturally by using only these methods that's super....but I was at a point where my adrenals were so non-functional that I HAD to address replacement (as in Isocort, which is available online without a prescription) not just supplementation. I have done all of the things above...to the tune of multiple 1000's of dollars and none of that is wasted, but without my adrenals functioning none of it is in and of itself enough to get me well.
Have you had an Adrenal Stress Index or 4 part saliva cortisol and DHEA measurement done???? If not, it is imperative to have a baseline and know where you are, especially if you've been sick for awhile. You don't need a doctor. They're available on line from
http://www.thehormoneshop.com
for about $100. The Hormone Shop uses the exact same lab, Pharmasan, that my doctor uses but doesn't require a doctors order. They even ship out of the country.
