Adjusting one's opinion every so often is not only necessary, but a sign of growth.

We have so few new possiblities to change the cycle of dependency, that every single new discovery or clue, every tool, is a beacon of hope through which lives may well be turned around.

Having the support of people like yourself, who have not only been through it, but have helped many others as well - is one of those very tools. It is a flag of hope.

Support from those that have won, and those that simply understand, or those that are hoping to be there eventally - is all good. It's like running a race and having people cheering for you on the sidelines.

So, to quote your very wise words: "... recovery is the goal, how we manage recovery is of much less importance than the fact that we do recover."

That is the heart of the matter.

So lets all play nice, and keep sharing what works for whom, who won, and who has fallen, for we must pick them up as well, even when it is ourselves...

Lets not become discouraged. Lets keep on trying.
