Surprisingly enough, the hypoglycemic treatment suggested in the threads below, openly supports those that also wish to attend AA meetings as a way of support.
The entire treatment is based in supporting and correcting the physical aspects that make it possible to suffer from alcohol dependency, depression, anxiety, hypo and hyperthyroid, and a host of other ailments, while also supporting the phsycological aspects in as many varied forms as possible, including building of self esteem, phsycotherapy, or for those that prefer it - AA.
Talking negatively about a therapy without first becoming familiar with it, and more importantly, without knowing if it does indeed work for many others seems irresponsible in that it may discourage some that may otherwise have benefited from it.
Who knows? It may turn out to be what works for many in here.
