AA's methods of pursuing sobriety are highly unrealistic and are becoming obsolete.
The low success rate of the AA program (only 25%) speaks for itself. And 25% success for some is the exact same thing as 75% failure for the rest, so if I were part of the 75% failure cohort (which I was/am), then I'd be highly motivated to find another way to pursue sobriety.
BTW, this week I earned my "90 day chip". Not a drop of booze in 12 weeks, and not a single AA meeting, either. 90 days and Zero meetings. It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood. Ha ha ha! I plan to order another batch of humaworm to begin taking in the first week of July, as part of my parasite maintenance program.
