Re: Question RE Salt Loading & My Current Protocol

Hi Bullhead,

>>>Don't have an answer for you, but I do have a question. Is your concoction a derivative of the salt water flush?<<<

I don't think so. I'd have to find out what the salt water flush is before saying one way or the other though. Seems like the salt water flush is something else.

This solution was recommended at the Liver Support Forum by one of the posters there. When I saw it, I recognized the similarity to a gatoraide-like recipe that I came across years ago (minus the bromides though).

Occassionally, I will go ahead and make this solution tastier by adding watermelon/kiwi Kool-aide and approx 1/2 cup sugar, which with the addition of these two items, the solution is then the original gatoraide-like recipe that I ran across years ago.

>>>I began drinking 2 qts of salt water each morning a few days ago and don't have much trouble with it, I can't imagine adding Epsom Salts . Blechhhh. I have used the Epsom Salts during Liver Flushes , but at the risk of repeating myself, blechhhh.<<<

LOL. I can relate. The first couple times I took Epsom's it was a heaping tablespoon to a glass of water purely for the liver duct relaxing aspect. Not bad the first and second time. Probably because my side hurt so bad I didn't notice.

Nowadays, epsom's is soooo nasty tasting! Probably because my side feels so much better that I can notice, lol!

In the solution I make, I don't notice even a hint of the taste of the epsoms. So, maybe you might want to give it a try? It does have magnesium in it. :)

just-n
