I am on day 33 of the MC. I am (of course) thinking about how to eat when I go back to eating. Thinking and thinking and thinking. This is my 3rd cleanse so I know about breaking the fast etc. (However, can someone remind me about how long I should break the fast for after 40 days?)
I KNOW I will eliminate flour and sugar. That's first off. But thinking beyond that...I get confused. I want simple rules otherwise I won't stick with anything. I am leaning toward a Atkins like diet (note I did not say Atkins exclusively). I believe I need something along the lines of the Carbohydrates addict's diet (although that is one book I haven't looked at yet).
I admire people who are vegans and raw food diet folks, but I don't think I would hack that. I think where I got into big trouble with my eating was eating sugary floury foods. I grew up eating meat and chicken etc..It is alright to exist on meat protein plus a good compliment of vegtables and fruits?
