Actually you are misinformed to some degree about what is the main reason for the sterilizing of the soil.

I will first agree with you that the Pesticides are not good to use.

But the main reason for the death of the Soil Life in general is from the use of 0-0-60 or it is called Potassium Chloride, or Muriate of Potash!!

This product contains very high amounts of Chloride, and when this is applied to the soil it releases Chlorine!!!!!!!!!

Now just what do people put in their swimming pools to KILL the Bacteria???

Most farmers apply enough of this product each year to guarantee that they will have to buy Nitrogen, because it Kills the Friendly bacteria which would help convert Nitrogen from the Air, FREE for their crops if they did not Kill these Bacteria!!!!!!!!

It is a very Slick way to keep the farmers a Slave to the Fertilizer companies!!!!!!!!!
