Re: Anyone notice facial skin changes?

Today is my 11th day of Oil Pulling. I have been OPing twice a day with sesame oil. I started OPing with the hope that it would clear my KP (keratosis pilaris) - little red bumps - that cover my arms and other parts of my body.

At first I noticed that my skin felt softer, my heels especially weren't as rough and dry. My KP seemed to be improving. And my lips weren't peeling at all anymore. However, on about the 8th day of OPing I started to break out in a rash that I've had only two times before in my life. It is a type of itchy psoriasis, which in my case had been triggered by an allergic reaction to wood. I haven't been exposed to wood at all recently, so I am suprised that I have this rash again. It seemed as though my skin was getting better, and then almost over night I broke out with this rash. It doesn't seem to be getting any worse or better at this point.

Maybe I am having a detoxing reaction due to all the toxins leaving my body through the OPing? I plan to continue OPing twice a day and hopefully it will clear up soon! It is a very itchy, flaky and red rash that is on my face and various small spots on my body, so the sooner it's gone the better!

* If anyone has any insights or suggestions, I would be grateful. *
