I think tomorrow I'll test out the ole oxidizer/lightening theory, and after I wash my hair and let it dry, I'll separate a lil' ole handful from somewhere that is 'buried in the rest' (I have VERY thick hair) so it won't show no matter what happens... braid it, and dip it the braid in the Lugol's bottle...and leave it alone until I wash it all again in a couple of days.

Then I'll unbraid it and see what happens. Is that a good/fair test? 'Just one good dunk in the Lugol's bottle? Or should I dunk it everyday? Or more than once a day?
Does anybody think I'll 'burn it off'?
