This is an Iodine SUPPORT Forum (PLEASE, do some Iodine research)...Re: Bad Bromine/Good Bromine?

...so you can realize that your 'I thinks' and 'I believes' have been proven by MANY doctors, researchers, AND holistic/natural healers over the decades to have little/no validity. I'd think you'd strongly desire to know/read all the information available so you could really help people to heal.

Have you listened to ANY of these audio programs?:

If you want/choose to DEBATE the use or safety of Lugol's/Iodoral or any type of iodine...there is an Iodine Debate Forum here:

This is a SUPPORT Forum for those supplementing their bodies with iodine.

>>>However, I think some people do overdose on Iodine and they do not recognize the symptoms.<<<

The "worst" case of excess Iodine recorded is when a man drank a PITCHER of Lugol's Solution that he mistakenly thought was iced-tea (lol...'musta been drunk). He had heart palpitations, facial swelling...and recovered uneventfully.

Doses from 1000-6000mg of Lugol's solution were given to bronchial/heart/asthma patients throughout history (given both by "MDs" AND holistic/natural healers)...and the only effect was total healing.

>>>But, I believe some may become iodine toxic with an overdose. In which case, they might want to go with the above foods.<<<

It has been CLEARLY shown (a LOT of times) that it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE to replenish the body's deficient level of iodine by ingesting kelp (or any other iodine rich food). One would have to consume ONE HALF POUND of kelp daily for one-three months to even come close. Then they would need to consume 1/4 pound daily for the rest of their lives to continue giving their bodies the iodine their bodies need. (This is what the Japanse consume...4 ounces of dried seaweed daily to ingest around 13 mgs of iodine). But the kind of seaweed they consume (that is so incredibly high in iodine) is not available in the US.

I totally understand the validy of getting our nutrients from natural food sources...however, this is NO longer a 'natural planet', and if we desire to give our bodies the bare essentials needed for optimum health, our choices are limited.
