Re: Bad Bromine/Good Bromine?
I'm not talking about supplementing bromine as one would do with
Lugol's iodine. However, I think some people do overdose on
Iodine and they do not recognize the symptoms. In which case, natural foods (like Kelp, Paprika, Cocoa) may be a good thing to help with their toxicity.
Most people are
Iodine deficient, not bromine deficient. But, I believe some may become
Iodine toxic with an overdose. In which case, they might want to go with the above foods.
Interesting that Kelp can cure goiter and it is THE richest source of bromine!
So,
Lugol's being a man-made product and proven medicine, I believe in going slowly with it if you want the benefits. Otherwise, you could cause metabolic imbalance.
As you say, natural plants can cause death, but Kelp (the richest source of bromine) is not one of them.
