How do you know, that if one were to "OD" on iodine, that those foods may be helpful ?
Do you have experience with anyone who has ever OD's on iodine, or are you just bored ? Such accounts are rare, even in the literature.
If a person were to OD on iodine, the proper thing they ought to do is call a poison control center immediately, and not look to eat kelp, cocoa, etcet.
I'd be curious to know how you ever got the impression that there is bromine in cocoa.
