Re: Minor vent -- got blasted for sharing "potentially dangerous information" regarding iodine

I had posted it in 5 or 6 different places -- all the places that have people I truly care about -- in a cyber-community type of way since I've not met any of them in person.

The one board is well-known for seemingly simple posts turning vicious and negative. I should have known better than to post there. I left the others, and actually the two who were the rudest found my posts elsewhere. One generalized that I only included commercial sites in my links which tells me she didnt take the time to look at them all because most of the links weren't commercial sites.

The other basically called me stupid for make a health-related decision without first consulting a medical doctor. This offended me at first, but now, the more I think about it the funnier it is. If that's the case, I know a lot of stupid people -- some more stupid than me -- and I'm very proud to be in their company. :p
