Perhaps some councilling or NLP is in order to reveal your inner demons?
Or perhaps you have significant B12 deficiency damaging your mental processes?

Tolerance and moderation are more highly vanted abilities than tendentious proselytizing.

You say a plant does not feel? Does not respond to nurture or torture?
The juice of the berry is not the blood of the bush?
Perhaps it doesnt respond in ways that you are capable of interpreting from your vaunted position at the top of the tower or from your narrow gaze down your muddy lens.
