Is there any evidence that a vegetarian or fruitarian diet is the healthiest? I'm not talking about individual examples either, because there are always going to be exceptions to everything. I'm asking if there are or have been any societies of people who ate vegetarian or fruitarian and were disease free and lived long and healthy lives?
