I have heard similar things from a couple of people who had a partial turbinectomy. They are sick all of the time and have crusting and dryness in their nasal passages. I guess I became discouraged after reading something that the late fasting guru Herbert Shelton wrote in which he said that turbinates that have been swollen for a long time might not ever shrink back to normal size. I am praying that he was wrong as I greatly fear any kind of surgery to the turbinates. Tweet
