Here's the strange thing with me; I used to get outbreaks on my mouth but have had some great luck using lysine to keep them at bay. Going on six years and I've had two minor outbreaks. Could I have manifested a genital outbreak on myself by thinking about it since I already had the virus in my body? I had been almost four months without sex and was thinking about genital herpes because I was talking with a girl that once told me she had it. I had absolutely never had an outbreak downtown then all of a sudden Ta Da! I was like "Don't I have to be having sex in order to be getting STD's?!
