Re: Any mom's of young children doing it?
yes, #61343's suggestions is exactly how I got thru my 10 day
Master-Cleanse last Aug. Trying to do things super easy and not overwhelmingly good-smelling at first, and then by day 4 or 5 I was ok.
The other thing that helped me when I made something particularly good was to freeze a portion for myself so I was not feeling deprived. Like even dishing out that portion of pulled pork and apple pie into tupperware and telling myself I could have it, just not for a week or so. Read that on another board and it really helped psychologically.
And finally, if possible, I'd plate everyone's food and then go for a walk and my husband would clean up his and the kids' dishes.
I've been contemplating another soon, but I'm feel guilty about the thought of serving the kids hot dogs while trying to make myself healthy...so I'm thinking I'll cook ahead a bit and freeze some homemade chicken soup and lasagne and veggies and chicken so it's quick and easy.
