Another maddening M.O.


....An NPD type can also repeat whatever you say to them. Sort of a grown-up version of "I know you are but what am I?"

No matter what fact or insight you might truly and honestly want to bring to the table for examination or if you try to confront the behavior because it has to stop to keep from just tearing up everything in its path--the REPEAT throwback stifles any affront to their behavior. Stops any progress. This is why I think that NPD is so insidious.

Does a NPD person feel so insecure that NOTHING can be said to them?

Anyone else out there see this pattern in their NPD person in their life?

Until you know about NPD or can see the futility of "helping" an NPDer....this can be really frustrating.
