At first, when I read your darling note....bless you....I thought, "No, you have nothing to offer really; 'unqualified'.....you're still WITH your batterer." But you know....someone said something that sparked an idea.

Let me pass onto you Positive Pause Daily Version....it's online somewhere and speaks mightily to being "open to love" and about the risks of doing so.

Still.......you SHOULD be careful not to deceive yourself about the signs along the road. Ask God to show you big "BEWARE" or "STOP" signs if you need to not go out with someone. (I deceived myself TWICE about the SAME guy. I really want to call myself out about that and learn WHY, too. Still learning alot. These guys can be SO charming....mine even came to church to GET ME.
