Colonic for a desperate kid?

Our 9 yr.old granddaughter gets constipated often causing her pain at stool, 'weird feelings' in her vagina, urinary problems, and she is irritable, balky, and hard to get up in the morning to go to school because she is so tired even after 10 hrs of sleep. I've been researching colonic cleanses, parasites, and now colonics trying to find something to help her. Her parents are at the end of their rope with her and now are thinking her problems are 'all in her head' or that she is having 'anxiety attacks' or is doing this 'just to get attention'. They want to punish her, or medicate her. I even have looked at Candida because she has had Antibiotics quite often for strep and bladder infections. Please advise.
