damn straight. the cold is no problem. in fact, the shoes make the feet colder by cutting off circulation and through conducting the cold through the material and the moisture buildup. my favorite boots in alaska were the canvas airforce mukluks. i put wool soles in them, wool liners and then wool socks. the key ways having everything loose inside and pulling everything apart and letting it dry thoroughly for the next day. i took them out in 60 below zero and my feet would still sweat. i would have to gauge how much to put in them so my feet would not sweat. getting wet in the arctic is death.
