Re: Dog skin parasites

Critterkids,
Actually, my strategy with Daisy's diet has been to add more veggies and less meats.
I gave her so-o-o much meat more meat percentage wise until the vet told me a month ago, ideally her diet would be 30% meat only which I have also read about in raw feeding sources, along with only 10% bone. On the point that I give her more veggies, I do agree, so I am now. Although, I know she gets more than 30% meat, she really needs the plant fiber too. And an apple a day keeps the doctor away! :)
I also give her organ meat; kidney, tripe, livers and such.
Boy, she had a grand Thanksgiving. Turkey, giblets, potatoes, green beans, etc !
I have been seeing the flea eggs, Storyofmylife eluded to.
I guess I had seen them before, but I just thought it was dirt or something.
So we're back to square one. I'm just going to keep on fighting the good flea fight.
We'll annihilate them eventually. sigh.
One thing we have in our favor it the weather getting cooler. I don't think fleas like that too much.
Thanks for your comments, guys.
Any more comments on flea/flea egg control are more that welcomed.
