Re: Potatoes are big no no :(
I'm a little confused about nutritional data, perhaps somebody can enlighten me.
If a complex carb contains more
Sugar than a simple carb, lets say 8 grams per 100 grams, is this a better food to eat as opposed to a simple
Sugar of 4 grams per 100 grams ?
Also, if a food type has 29 grams of carbs, but only 2.9 grams are sugars, what do the other carbs get converted into ?
I was under the impression all carbs will eventually be converted into glucose, so why is there a distinction ?
Regarding the potatoes I was eating, I ate them whole with skins as I had read this was ok... but I did feel a little worse so I know its not ok, however, potatoes are complex carbs, so why is there such a rush of blood glucose, and also, what does this mean for complex carbs in general as it seems to me they are barely any better than simple carbs when on the candida diet.
