hey, no need to get that drastic. this sounds very simple, but it could very well be scabies. I've looked at pics of scabies, and it can look that way, and is very hard to get rid of. did any of your docs examine it with a microscope? Mine has gotten much better since i started treating it like scabies last week. the itch is all but gone, and the redness is healing. i would never have thought it possible, but its actually not uncommon. esp in your setting.
