I've had this stuff for years. Some years i'd get it real bad, other years nothing. Then I'd get stressed and begin to notice little tapioca looking cells beneath the skin. Sometimes they'd emerge and pop, other times they'd form a tough skin formation like a tough spot on the heel of your foot, etc. I think I'm currently at the end of a severe 6-month flare-up of the stuff. I rec'd a steroid shot 6 weeks ago which had immediate effects for the first week and them my stuff laughed at it the following 5. I just found out tonight that it's called Dyshidrotic Eczema -or- DYSHIDROSIS – POMPHOLYX. All of the pictures and descriptions match it perfectly. When I first had it, I had it between my toes, but nowadays I just get it on the sides and tips of a few fingers (more on my left hand than my right). I wouldn't curse this stuff upon my worst enemy - it's so damn itchy, flaky and bothersome.
