Whose Mystery babylon?

Lord help us. I have heard teaching on different views of who mystery babylon was . I've heard Rome, America, Jerusalem and literal babylon . What are your views. I looked up the scriptures given for america since I live in america and couldn't get a concrete evidence of it from the scriptures. I do think this nation will face judgement because of its sins. All nations that forget God will face judgement.I did think the idea of 7 continents being the idea for 7 mountains or hills could be a possibility and quite a interesting thought. Someone said Jerusalem has 7 hills or mountains. Never heard of that before. DOes anyone know for sure? And also does Rome fit all that is stated about mystery babylon or just a few things? I am not familiar with the trade of Rome. I know their history is awful. I want lots of views and proof on this if you got it. I haven't been able to be convinced either way. I even heard someone say the antichrist will come from syria. So we have America, Rome, Literal babylon, Jerusalem and Syria. Someone said the bible codes show america. Is the bible codes really reliable? In my own mind Jerusalem would seem likely, they killed the prophets and satan is always a counterfeit of christ he does make his way to the temple but other things probably don't fit that either.
