It's a little naive to think the medical establishment, especially in the US, would go for alternative treatments. The patient in the medical industry are caught in a struggle between the pharmaceutical industry and the surgeons.
As someone mentioned earlier on this site, a famous actor died recently due to complications from gall bladder surgery. I don't know much of the details behind this case but wouldn't it have been great if he had known about this site?
