Re: what?

In Asia, around Chinese New Year it is popular to buy or give these small citrus plants (I say small - some can be 5 or 6 feet high) that are covered all over with beautiful small oranges (or some sort of small orange citrus). But they aren't edible. I tried some, they taste terrible. Most people toss the trees after a few months, like you do with a christmas tree.
Not all citrus is "edible". I mean, it may be really fibrous and acidic and not sweet. I don't have a problem with people growing citrus trees just because they are pretty or smell nice. However, I believe there are already traditional citrus available for doing that, no need to genetically mutate plants!!
