Re: Termite sophistication
I think the most plausible approach is to eat that which is native to one's local area, in that the environment dictates what the body needs and is provided from the land in which one resides. Not speaking specifically about meats, veggies or fruits for that matter but that I believe the wide range of needs is based on the wide range of climate patterns the land offers from the northern tip to the southern tip. The problem is that so many foods from all over the world are indeed healthy but perhaps not for those who do not live in that area. If they live in areas that cannot provide any food it is folly to live there but it is reality so the next best thing would be to get the food from as close to one's area as possible.
I can live on squash, apples, rhubarb, berries, walnuts and fish from my local area and feel really well but when I start to eat various "healthy" foods of the land from other areas I suffer. Just my observation and experience. It makes sense to me that the land would be nourished a certain way to nourish the habitants to keep them safe, healthy, strong and balanced.
I love fruit too and eat lots of it, eat very little meat, I think water consumption is way over rated because for years I did quite a few flushes with pure water and would get sicker, to this day if I drink too much water I get very ill from it but if I have a fresh juice, my thirst is quenched and I feel good. The key to water is sips of it here and there, not drinking a whole 8oz glass in one fell swoop. Who ever decided that was the way it should be done? Anyone? (and yes distilled is even worse, my body likes minerals)
