Re: sushi fish only
Hi!
Welcome!
There are many excellent sources of raw protein. Hemp seeds are wonderful, as well as green leafy veggies(the builders of our body)spiriulina(you can take it in capsules)chlorella, all seeds, and if you tolerate it, miso(not a raw food, but a live food used by many people on a live food diet)
A little while ago I ate raw fish on my raw diet. I felt that I wasnt getting enough protein and so I ate it, even though I didnt like it. Lets just say I got THAT out of my system. A raw diet provides all the protein you need. Feeling as if your not getting enough protein is a usual part of the transition phase and will go away.
In the meantime, if it helps you, go ahead and eat that raw fish, but be very, very careful that it is wild and fresh. Be sure to ask when it was caught and always get it from the bottom of the pile, becuase the older stuff is usually brought in the front to sell.
Btw, tofu is not raw, and not recommended. Soy has been show to be toxic to the body, and should only be eaten in its fermented state. Have miso instead.
Good luck!
