Re: Yogurt Maker and herbs
Hello.
Re:
"
Interesting what you have to share.
"
Thank you.
"
I have been shopping a little bit on Amazon and I saw a yogurt maker and I just talked to my husband yesterday and we thought about purchasing a yogurt maker. Apparently you just pour organic milk or soymilk in it and add the sweetener of your choice (or nothing at all) and put it in the machine and it is ready for you in the morning.
"
True. This "yogurt maker" doesn't really MAKE yogurt, I presume, since Yogurt happens naturally, but I suppose that it's good if you have a dedicated device for it.
"
I do have a few questions.. where can I get pure organic powdered cloves? I have these capsules from this website (that goes with the
Wormwood tinture) but I see a cheap capsule maker that I can purchase...so thinking of making my own stuff.
"
A simple solution is to buy whole natural cloves [not chemically treated of course] and to crush them to a powder yourself, either by hand or with any commercial appliance. I do it this way myself. It's the only method I can trust.
"
I don't know much about herbs. I've never heard of Gentian Violet... where can I get it?
"
You can get Gentian Violet over the counter from any drugstore that carries it, IF they carry it, because Gentian Violet is likely "something from the past" already.
Gentian Violet is a DYE derived from Rosaniline {Fuchsin), which is a byproduct of aniline, which is an oily substance that was initially obtained from (genus) 'indigofera' plants [of course now it's all synthesized, probably]. It was invented late in the nineteenth century, I believe, by a french company.
In my opinion, Gentian Violet is one of the STRONGEST topical/subtopical
parasite killers you're likely to find, and it doesn't just stop there. For example, read what the dictionary says about it:
------------------------------
gentian violet
a dye derived from rosaniline, used in chemistry as an indicator and in medicine as a fungicide, bactericide, anthelmintic, and in the treatment of burns.
(

------------------------------
But don't take their word for it. Get yourself [CAREFULLY] a couple of worms from the ground and "treat" them with Gentian Violet and time the reactions and results and post them here later -that was MY test. You'll see what I mean for yourself.
"
7 drops under tongue or on tongue?
"
ON and/or UNDER, it doesn't really matter, because it diffuses/spreads so well. You apply Gentian Violet on the tip of your tongue and it's likely to spread down to the throat itself [an endoscopy would be in order to verify this - I haven't].
Make sure it's 7 'big' drops, but note that I've said MIX together with the other ingredients BEFORE using. If 125ml yogurt is too much, use 1/2 or 1/4, because this time Yogurt acts much like a 'glue' or "base" (not a chemical base).
"
What does it do for you?
"
It disinfects you TOPICALLY/SUBTOPICALLY by killing any pathogen 'in sight', without causing physical harm THAT I'M YET AWARE OF. I have yet to find any report in the literature or otherwise that says different, and I'm ALWAYS looking.
The only real "danger" of Gentian Violet seems to be the stain that it leaves, which is likely to remain visible for a couple of days. In the case of open wounds, I've heard that it stains permanently (as a tatoo), but I can't verify this.
[** Personal example: Among other AGGRESSIVE measures that I had to take, once I literally SOAKED a patient's foot in a strong Gentian Violet solution to stop a case of Gangrene from spreading and consuming the foot. His foot was saved but it remained stained for almost a year. Now it's all back to normal.]
Gentian Violet is a VERY POWERFUL [and yet uneventful] topical 'tool' for any doctor's "bag", in my humble opinion, IF well employed -as always. It's seems to be so safe that it is (or was) applied to newborns and to the nipples of nursing mothers. [However, DO NOT take my word for it and test it cautiously on yourself FIRST against any possible adverse reactions -unlikely, but always possible]
[** I've used it many, MANY times and I endorse it as SAFE (so far), but there's no way to know if an adverse reaction will occur at one time or the other, because each case is different; so I always perform a "sensibility test" on patients FIRST, consisting of a very small drop as a skin test, and then a very small drop topically/orally.]
Gentian Violet is a "medical gem", if one knows it and understands its limitations.
Of course, they won't teach you any of this about Gentian Violet in college anymore. 'Progress' has opened the way for more "modern" and complex [and why not, more profitable] medicines, almost sending back to oblivion these 'tools' from the past. I learned of Gentian Violet casually after studying the personal journals of an early 20th century doctor. I Thank God for that.
[** Please note that it's NOT to be understood, however, that Gentian Violet is the cure to everything or that it's a "miracle drug". It just does what it does, no more, no less.]
"
Thanks so much for your valuable advice.

You're welcome.
