I hope everything's turned out fine.
In your case, I wouldn't ASSUME that there's anything specific in the throat without a definitive diagnosis. The best advice is to have it looked at, photographed and analyzed, even. Meanwhile, for comfort strangely I've found the following quite helpful, although it takes a couple of days for the effects to reflect:

- OTC Gentian Violet 7 drops
- Powdered Cloves 1/2 teaspoonful
- Yogurt (125ml's worth)
- Flax seeds 2 teaspoons

Mix and let dissolve into mouth. Repeat 4x/day. After 5 or 10 mins, water's OK.
After 1,2 weeks the "lump" should shrink, probably.

It's IMPORTANT for the yogurt to be natural AND sweet, not 'diet' stuff. Tweet
