I don't want to turn this into a debate, just want to add a small detail/story.
Stefansson is an explorer who lived some time with the Inuits. When he came back home, he made an experiment during which ALL he ate was red meat (muscle meat), with about a ratio of 80% fat and 20% protein.
At the end of the year, he had no calcium deficiency, no vitamin C deficiency, he even felt in better health.
Meanwhile, you get people who get healthier with raw vegan diets...
Vegetarian claims like that "humans can not digest meat" are completely stupid, that is sure.
It is true that it requires proper levels of stomach acid, as do every food that needs to be liquified. With proper stomach acid levels, it literally melts.
