Actually, Qwer, I eat a handful of almonds everyday, as well as good portions of chickpeas, bee pollen, flax seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, etc., and I don't feel awful the way I did when I had some meat this weekend.

I understand the idea that my body might be experiencing some shock from not having had meat in a while -- you're probably right about that.

But I do believe that the idea of meat being harder to digest is more than just a myth. I remember that when I started to switch over to the vegan diet, I'd notice that on days that I had meat, my sleep wouldn't be as good as when I didn't have any meat.
