You might want to read up on 5-HTP an amino acid supplement that can help with depression. The herb, St John's Wort has helped many people too.
I'm not sure which protocol you used, but the directions should be closely followed for good results. If you're not fasting it may be difficult to see what you pass unless you catch it in a colandar.
Sometimes the Epsom Salts depletes the system of electrolites (sp?), and you need to replenish them with a lot of water. There are a couple of other drinks that could help... a vegetable broth, or Emergen C, or a drink called Recharge. (Gater-aid types of drinks-without the bad sweetener)
