nope - i don't buy it. dawnalynne swoops in here to make her statement about disliking p.c.ness & says why should gay people need support. then when we question her statement she says, hey chill out i was just asking a question, can't a person ask a quesiton, geeze... but then goes on in another post to prostelitize again how she doesn't understand why gays (or blacks, or anyone else) would need support.

so to me it does not seem like a genuine query to come to a deeper understanding. all i'm doing is calling her on it. i feel no anger or hostility toward her whatsoever :D

look, if we never challenge each other to dig a little deeper we'll never unearth the core issues that lead to discrimination. yes, this is a subtle example but the fact of the matter is she chose this forum to make her point and to me that is significant and worthy of examination in a respectful, but authentic way.

now everyone smile and take a deep breath . . .
