part of the problem i have with your question is that as a queer person i'm tired of having to explain all of the time . . . why should gays be able to marry, why do you need 'special rights', why should there be a classification of hate laws, why do you need pride marches, bla bla bla bla

...so you don't understand why a forum like this would be helpful? too bad!!! why should we have to spend time explaining the obvious over and over . . . this isn't what the forum is for - tho some may not mind responding -- but to those of us who've had to 'expain' our whole lives it gets old.

now, why don't you pop into the ' Liver Flush support' forum and ask those folks why THEY need support? or why even visit this website at all if you can't understand why a person would want to reach out to a community for support? why are YOU here? what forums do you participate in? do you benefit from sharing in the forums? do you offer help to others? why would it be any different for this topic? i just don't get your confusion, sorry (if it is only confusion - which i still question).

this was my original point - it just seems like a big 'duh' to me :D
