Re: confused
I can understand the response of others to your questions. You seem to have a problem with people seeking support from others? Why is that? After all we are all here to support and love eachother in life....whether in regard to health, sexuality, ...isn't that what curezone, and life, is for...sharing experiences and empathising with and loving eachother. If not, life would feel pretty empty and meaningless don't you think?
You may not have realised (!) that gay people experience discrimination and oppression due to their sexuality being considered 'wrong' or 'a moral evil' (especially if you're the new pope ;)). This is not the case for heterosexuals and I'm shocked that people still do not realise this (actually not that shocked!). Society in general doesn't make it easy to a gay person to express their feelings in public...this invalidation can lead to feelings of isolation and alienation which can effect self-esteem, leading to feelings of depression. Have you not heard of 'gay bashing'?!....where people are beaten up just because they are gay. It seems you are out of touch with issues that gay people face.
It seems you have some issues which you need to sort out before projecting them onto other groups in society. You seem quite resentful....perhaps because you didn't have enough support yourself...perhaps you haven't been accepted and feel it's wrong for others to seek acceptance from others. We all need love and acceptance....it takes a tough, hard person to say "I don't need love and acceptance from others". True we have to accept and love ourselves but this can be made very difficult when your very identity and self is rejected and denied by others.
Forums like this one are one way in which people who are having a hard time can find support from others and find people they have something in common with.
