Re: I too dislike any censorship that is done to curb different views .....
"Anyone with an "Ask ??" CureZOne forum is viewed by many as an expert and is, therefore, most likely to be believed. It is, in my view, very dangerous for people with a host of medical conditions to be told the answer to their problems is to eat a mono fruit diet; that water kills etc etc."
I will assume this is your motivation for being against MH and his forum. I dont mean to say this to start another little war on this thread. It made me think of a hypothetical situation where I might feel the same way. What if an "Ask Expert" started to suggest that drinking 1
oz of gasoline daily will cure you of cancer? To me this is obviously dangerous and would likely kill someone. Should I call for the "Ask Expert" to be expelled from the Curezone or should I do as I advised in previous threads and disagree with and vigorously question the "Ask Expert"?
I think to answer that myself I would likely do both but I am not sure. I must admit that I do now understand better why some of you are as borderline fanatical when it comes to removing or discrediting a particular "Ask Expert" as I am about protecting his ability to speak his beliefs.
I believe Johng is right in that it is an endless and impossible task deciding what information to censor in order to protect those incapable of decifering the good information from the bad. However, to contradict myself in that belief I think I would still want to ban messages that I deemed completely unreasonable such as the example I gave earlier.
