Re: 4 year-old child's oozing, crusting eczema

Thanks so much for your thorough response, Aunty. I was hoping you would respond, as I've learned so much from other posts you've made.
I applied Vitamin E lotion on Sarai (her name) this morning, and when her cousin came to pick her up, she noted how nice her neck looked. I told her what I used, and she quickly asked if I still had the Cetaphil. I guess I just need to keep doing what I'm doing and let it speak for itself because she will never get it otherwise.
Sarai hasn't had any difficulty with bowel movements, but her urine smells like something burning. She is drinking more water, she even requests it now. After waking, she wanted water immediately this morning.
I am definitely going to get a shower filter this weekend. Last night, she wasn't itching all evening, she was laughing and running, so I couldn't bear to exacerbate her skin by bathing her. I know it's important, so I moisturized her, but she wailed here still. I put jojoba oil on her face, which she said did not hurt.
I am going to check out those links you provided. If you have anything else useful to add, or anyone else here, please do. I'm extremely open-minded, and I know this can be beat.
Thanks,
Monique
