Selfish argument

The term selfish is thrown a lot sometimes and I’ve said it before and here I go again, there is a philosophy that says that EVERYTHING we do is selfish. It’s true. If you do something nice, like help an old woman cross the street, you are only doing it so you will feel good about yourself and not guilty, that’s selfish.

Now anti- abortion people say is selfish to have an abortion, but not necessarily. I mean the world is overpopulated so I say it’s selfish act against the world to bring more babies into it. You are committing a selfless act if you don’t bring in any more babies.

The flip side is that abortion is selfish because you don’t want to make a 360 with your life, just because you are pregnant.

And IMO no one should have “their own” baby until all the unwanted babies are taken care of, because you know what it’s selfish to have a baby of “your own” (DNA) when there are plenty w/ out a family.

So there you have it people. Everyone is selfish no matter what you do. Enough already, the selfish argument is so flawed, and really when you pick it apart ridiculous.
