Ok I was wondering has anyone ever tried the "one meal a day" diet? In my eyes it is definately a partial fast because you go like 20 hours or something before another meal. Well I suck at counting hours (LOL) But you do the math... *example* I eat a deli sandwhich at 7pm monday, than nothing until 7pm tuesday umm lets say I eat 5 chicken fingers, then nothing again until 7pm wednesday hmm a grilled chicken ceasar salad..., than nothing until Thursday at 7pm a fish sandwhich... and so on. Now back in 2003 when I was taking Phentermine (prescribed by physician) this is what I was doing but didn't know it was a diet then... I lost about 30LBS in about a month. Of course the phentermine worked than and my appetite was very little. Ok so we know this is partial fasting because your body is going so long in between meals. From what I can gather up via web research this seems to be quite effective. I think that it may be good for people who don't tend to have much of an appetite until the evening... because you will burn so much calories if you do not eat during the day while you are the busiest. What ever you eat at that last meal can't hurt because most of our stomachs have shrunk already anyway. But you would still have to be skeptical of what you eat. So like the things I mentioned is pretty cool. I've read instances (LOL) where some folks on this diet will eat Pizza, or tacos or KFC etc. as their one meal. ROFL but me, its seems pretty cool because I usually can hold out by telling myself I am going to eat later on something that I like. It is always only a little because my stomach really can't hold too much food anymore. From my calculations I would still be taking in 500 or less calories per day... plus giving my body like 20 hrs of rest from constant digestion of eating 3 meals or whatever...
Whats you guys take on this idea??? Any experiences? Please share... :o)
