Re: Day 17 of a 40+ day water fast

Hi there! I try to exercise everyday, whether it is a short walk (20-30 minutes or more) or power yoga in my living room. I simply cannot exercise like I normally would, like the elliptical machine, jogging, or lifting weights, which I don't like, but it's only temporary.
I have the motivation because I am tired of being miserable, honestly, my body is toxic and I know I need to this to start on my way to a healthy life. I have tried and failed more times than I can count, and I'm sure Ive hurt my body in the process. I just want this so much at this point, that I don't care if I suffer at all during this. It hasn't been all that bad, either. I am pretty happy with it. I still have temptations to eat, but I make it thru.
I have not weighed myself at all since I started. I began with 30+ pounds to lose, but honestly I am not doing this for the weight loss, it's for health. But I can tell you that I've definitely lost weight, my clothes are baggier, my face has thinned out, and I just feel a lot better about myself. Weight loss is unpredictable, as is everything about a fast it seems! So if you don't lose the same amount of weight in a day, I wouldn't worry. It will continue, there's no way for it not to. Your body is forced to live off its fat, so the weight loss will come.
Hope all that helps! Let me know if you're starting a fast or if you have any more questions.
