Re: periods,clotting and parasites
Hi Yael...you didn't mention anything about a diagnostic laporoscopy which is a surgical procedure used to diagnose endometriosis....I assume that you did not have this procedure? Unfortunately, this is the only way to definitively diagnose endo...it usually does not show up on ultrasound or any type of scan...and there are no blood tests for it. If you have similar symptoms this could be the problem.
There has been some research done to suggest that endometriosis is the result of toxins...and is often seen right along with conditions such as candida, CFS, fibromyalgia, etc.
parasites can live virtually anywhere...although it may be a chicken-or-egg question....whether the
parasites are the cause or another result of the condition is unknown. Nevertheless, they both need to be treated. The fact that the progesterone helps you so much at least suggests that excess estrogen is part of your problem...and endometriosis is possibly caused by...and certainly aggravated by estrogen-dominance.
