you number people drive me nuts!!

pick a name already!!! icannot distinguish between all of these numbers!! you are all the same to me!! even if its joeschmoe or johnsmith who cares? pick a name! geeze. i don't have the time to go back and figure out what bible verse which numbered poster posted. someone posted something about the writing on the wall, how that relates to the true name of God i have no idea, do you? is three another verse you think is relevant here?

how about this verse in Mattew 9. the pharisses were getting bent out of shape about Jesus feasting with tax collectors and sinners, Jesus said those who are sick need a doc, not the well. and then in verse 13 he quotes the book of Hosea when he says, "go and learn what this mean, I desire mercy not sacrifice,"

in other words God looks on our heart, not on the outward practice of our religion. he doesn't care how htings look and if you are doing and saying the "right" things, he cares about if you care about other people. you could run around spouting off the "right" name of God all day, but if you treat others poorly it doesn't matter. conversely you could call God "Fred" all day long and if you do good things, and show care and compassion then God is perfectly fine with that.
