Dogma?
I didn't adopt another dogma. I follow no church doctrine. In fact I don't even call myself a 'Christian' per se, as there are numerous spiritual teachings that are valid, and I don't limit myself to any single path.
I have studied the actual history of Jesus available outside of the one manufactured by orthodox Christian churchmen over the centuries. It is far different than the accepted 'party line, and I find this expanded, enlightened take on Christianity very refreshing... more spiritually stimulating and much more to my way of thinking, feeling and doing...
In fact, now that very the earliest Christian Essene writings of Jesus have been uncovered and translated over the past century (not to mention the complete Gnostic Gospels are now available for study), I have a wealth of material above and beyond the much altered established cannon to refer to.
In addition, I find much of the channeled material a la
Edgar Cayce and the Michael Teachings very instructive too.
Many people believe that Jesus survived the grave. He certainly survived the cross, that much is certain. Whether he floated up to heaven, or high-tailed it out of Palestine to begin a new ministry depends on what you happen to believe. Neither belief is right or wrong, better or worse. Whatever works for you is fine.
However, I have spent years investigating the historical life of Jesus. If ones has no preconceived beliefs that block one learning the facts, one can find out some amazing things about the life of Jesus....
